The leadership we have

That is why they resort to crime for survival, their eyes wide open. But they lack discernment and insight due to retardation, backwardness of the living condition of people in the country. Everything in the nation, including the people at the top, middle and the lower ones, appear to be deceptive, crooked, erroneous and misleading, yet seek and insist of another chance. The leader of them all spoke to Nigerians about providing fresh air, high quality education, etc,  but we experience noting of the sorts, but suffering in all our day-to-day needs of life.   Million of Nigerians are wasting away due to poor performance of the economy. Everywhere, Nigeria is seen as giant in Africa but because of lack of effective and efficient leadership that will carry everyone along, people are groping in the dark. I quiet agree with Tunday Asaju, one of your columnists. He has a strong belief on Africa: “African leaders are born to rule, not made. They need no special qualification for the job. Like eagles, they, at the direction of the wind, spread their wings and soar on populism, which is not difficult to acquire if you are in charge of country’s fortunes”. All is going to be well with the perception I have, Nigeria as a case study.
