The anniversary tagged “The Master’s Place @ 4” drew numerous members of the congregation in their colourful attires.
The cleric in charge of The Master’s Place, Pastor Oluyombu said, “We’re giving praise to God for keeping this church for four years.
“In the last four years, we experienced a lot of turnaround in the lives of the people. People were saved, we’ve had new converts and lives were transformed. Some people have testimonies of healings, of deliverances, of uncommon breakthrough, uncommon favours.
Again, God has a kingdom, he’s the king of the kingdom and we’re supposed to be citizens of the kingdom so that we go back to the very beginning – are we still in line or are we just celebrating the goodies we get from God or are we celebrating righteousness? The kingdom of God is all about righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. So have to bring our people back. Let’s go back to the very beginning so we can access what God promised in the very beginning.
The church is in a commercial area unlike a church planted in a residential area. That’s part of the challenge. Around the world, many people aren’t interested in serving God.
This security challenge in Nigeria, a lot of people have other place to go to but turn to God because all the security equipment in the world can’t save a nation. Remember 9/11 in America. With everything they have, the terrorists succeeded in hitting the World Trade Towers. Even the Pentagon – only that they weren’t successful in getting the Whitehouse. Safety is in the Lord.
In 3 John 2…God’s own intension is a complete package for man – man should proper spiritually, physically, in his health, materially, financially – all round prosperity. That’s God’s own plan. That’s what we’ve been trying to address.
On security problem in Nigeria, he said, “Government is fighting so many wars: it’s fighting insurgency, opposition, even itself. But our responsibility is to pray for whoever is in authority. We need to return to God. I can see an end to this. Nigeria will come out of this gloriously. God is interested in this nation and God will defend this nation.”
The chairman of the organizing committee, Deacon Taiwo Ladipo said, “We thank God for what he’s doing in our midst. This is the fourth anniversary. We started a cooperative society to solve problems – members who contribute money are helped to start their own businesses.
Yesterday we went through a lesson on how to start your own business and being employer of labour.
It’s to reduce poverty. Gone are those days it was said as poor as church rat. Everybody is becoming enlightened, knowing the secret to success.
Members who contribute their money and be able to take a loan – no interest!
It’s fourth anniversary. For every day we live, we should give thanks. The bible says in any situation, give thanks to God. So for making us to four, we’re giving glory to the most high God.
This celebration is to know more about kingdom principles, to discover why we came into this world so as to be able to key into it and enjoy heaven on earth.
We’re expecting an increase, increase in number of people, increase in our lives, increase in knowing God more, increase in everything we do.
