The need for writers in our societies

Of the numerous gifts and treasures of societies today; writers are one. Societies deprived of such gifts and treasures can best be described as static water bodies – whose water flow and survival of inhabitants seize to a stand-still for the rest of time. Writers symbolise rich cultures and advanced societal civilization.

Writers think, explore, analyse, project and articulate thoughts into meaningful and fascinating scenes and scenarios in a deliberate attempt to bring to light the silent facts, events and happenings for societies to reflect and make-out lessons from. Writers are sophisticated weapons capable of rendering ineffective the mental and spiritual defects of societies.

For these to prevail, the quest for continued evolution of writers (excellent writers) becomes critical for societies in furtherance of re-discovering its true ideals, historical backgrounds, lineages and more importantly reasons for ultimate existence. This speaks volumes of the humungous benefits societies stand to gain amidst these uniquely different species of people called ‘’writers’’.

0ne of these benefits is the ever increasingly recurring voyage of discoveries (from known to unknown) and experiences (exciting and dreaded) about human existence which shape and continue to re-shape societies for better and better life long living and learning.

This is why with excellent writers around and coupled with the desired commitments on the part of the societies to books (and anything readable) wonderful discoveries, insightful and fruitful experiences are sure-made. The multiplier effect of which places societies far above their peers; those deprived of such gifts.

In view of the said benefits derivable from the gifts and treasures of writers, societies should ensure the continued evolution of writers at all costs, so that rich cultures and societal civilization prevail. This is attainable not only by acquiring conventional education but also by rigorously engaging young minds to re-awaken the ‘’can do’’ spirit (mostly hidden and highly effective when discovered) in them to produce writings that interest them on simple selected topics. These writings upon improving by excellent writers are sure to unleash the potentials of excellent writings in them.

This tempo if sustained will gradually allow possibilities to set-in for excellent writings to see the light of the day, and to further place such societies at the advantage of others in pursuit of today’s societal quest for advancements – characterised by societal development, civilization and technological breakthroughs. All these are possible but only with the gifts of writers.
