Since the GTR was introduced, it has won many awards from different motor magazines and has received much commendation from many motor editors including Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear.
The reason why the GTR looks this way is because every part of the body of the car including the side mirror is designed to channel the aero dynamic wind to the big spoilers at the rear. The result is absolute stability which is what spoilers are supposed to do. This makes so good for hard cornering if you are on a race track. On a straight line, the GTR will hit 193mph even though the engineers designed it to handle corners. The good thing about this sports car is it doesn’t lose its sense of practical. It has four seats and a boot and we are told it is very quiet and comfortable.
It is built on a complex chassis before it is bolted to the body. Because of the high tech chassis, its weight distribution between the front and rear is even out.
There are also displays on the multimedia screen to show you how well you do on the corners and the general output of your driving. The GTR is blessed with technologies to keep you in line with your target destination. With so much technology, one should feel uninvolved. No! Jeremy says the car feels very mechanical and keeps the driver absolutely involved in fact on violent corners you could literary sprain your neck. But this is not the machine I would want to give any Abuja stunt driver because it is a car as fast as a Ferrarri 430 Scudera, quicker than a Porshe GT or a Mcleran SLR on a race track – yet it has only a V6 3.8 liter engine that turns out roughly 400 break horsepower .
This is one of the best cars to own but I really don’t know who wishes to bring it into the country. If I have seen a Lambourgini here in Nigeria, then I would be inclined to believe that one day I see it here in this country- or should I?
