It is indeed a very interesting and unique judgment by the appeal court. It is rather instructive that the opposition party could not prepare and present concrete evidence against our dear President Muhammadu Buhari. Every minute, from the day that APC candidate got reelected as president for another four years’ mandate, is the greatest minutes of failure of PDP as a political party and in the minds of Nigerians that reasoned wisely.
Though other states like Kano, Kaduna went to appeal and Insha Allah to the Supreme Court too.
The Supreme Court has passed the judgment and many Nigerians have confidence in the team of the apex court judges who stood their ground to sustain and defend the judiciary in Nigeria.
The Supreme Court panel led by CJN Tanko Mohammed unanimously held that PDP’s appeal lacked merit and therefore dismissed it. The main appeal will abide with the seven other interlocutory appeals filed by PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar. Democratic politics cannot be practiced in a state of anarchy and confusion which the opposition wanted to achieve. The Supreme Court has dismissed their petition due to many facts and reasons that the February Presidential election conducted by INEC was a free and fair election that majority of Nigerians wished for and their dreams came true in moving to the next level of sanity, determination, motivation and inspirational function that gave birth to zealous achievement in politics for the good people of Nigeria.
I am personally wishing our amiable leader and the great party of ours, APC, a successful delivery of good governance in Nigeria.
