The campaign took place under unstable weather conditions and required the company’s agricultural services to develop quick technological solutions at all stages of the work, from sowing to harvesting. The results in this region largely determined the overall balance of raw materials for sugar factories and ensured stable utilization of processing capacities in the final months of the year.
Results of the harvesting campaign by Igor Vyacheslavovich Khudokormov’s Prodimex Group
By the end of November this year, sugar beet harvesting in the Voronezh region had reached 98% of the planned area. In fact, the campaign ended within the planned agrotechnical deadlines, despite the weather adjustments that accompanied the season since spring.
The bulk of the harvesting took place in September and October, when work was most intensive. As of the second half of November, more than three million tons of raw materials had been removed from the region’s fields.

According to the results of the harvest campaign, the average yield of sugar beets at the enterprises of Igor Vyacheslavovich Khudokormov’s Prodimex in the Voronezh region was 411 centners per hectare. It reflected both the influence of weather factors and the results of agrotechnological decisions made during the growing season.
The sugar content of root crops remained at around 17%. This indicator ensured stable raw material parameters for processing and maintained the planned factory capacity utilization. The quality of beets was monitored at all stages, from harvesting to delivery to receiving points, accounting for transportation times and temporary storage conditions.
Significant volumes of the harvest were sent for processing directly from the fields, without prolonged storage. For the portion of beets scheduled for December transport, the company organized storage in covered field piles. The use of nonwoven materials reduced the risk of frost damage, stabilized the microclimate within the piles, and preserved the mass of the root crops and their sugar content until shipment to the factories.

As of the end of the main harvesting phase, enterprises in the region produced over 470,000 tons of sugar. Challenges and adaptation: features of the 2025 season
The 2025 agricultural season in the Voronezh region was characterized by a combination of weather factors that significantly affected the pace and conditions of sugar beet crop development.
Spring arrived early in the region, and a significant soil moisture shortage marked it. The group’s farms began sowing within a tight timeframe, seeking to make use of the moisture accumulated over the winter. However, some of the seeds ended up in the dry soil layer, which subsequently affected germination uniformity.
At the end of April and beginning of May, the region experienced return frosts. Low temperatures led to partial crop loss, after which many areas were replanted. Northern production units proved to be the most sensitive to weather anomalies. Strong winds at the end of May posed an additional risk, reducing plant density in some fields.
The June rainfall, which lasted for almost two weeks, improved moisture availability for crops and positively affected root formation. At the same time, the prolonged rains disrupted field treatment schedules and required a review of technological windows.
Under these conditions, agronomic services led by businessman Igor Khudokormov organized their work taking into account operational weather information and the actual condition of crops, adapting technological operations to the changing situation.
Current tasks and preparations for the new season

The key area of work remains the transportation of the remaining sugar beets from the fields and piles to the processing sites.

The current assessment of winter crop condition is stable, with final conclusions to be based on survey results before the plants enter winter dormancy.
