This means that no one is really safe from these criminals that prowl everywhere and abduct people.
While children could be enticed by sweets, biscuits and the like, teenagers and adults are abducted by using charms to make them follow the abductors without refusing or raising alarm.
Though many have disputed such claims, especially after the victims have escaped and told their stories. This is more so as they can hardly trace the  ritualists’ den.
Those that escape are the lucky ones that live to tell their stories, while the unlucky ones are never found, killed probably, while their parents and relatives keep hoping to find them.
Their argument is that in this age, how could one believe such ‘superstition’?
But then, from time to time people are caught with human parts, to be used for rituals apparently. And even if we don’t believe it works, the fact remains that people are killed to harvest their organs for the rituals.
However, this is happening a lot to be the figment of few people’s imagination, seeking for attention.
A nine-year old boy went missing recently in Kano for some days. The parents looked for him everywhere, including hospitals, but they couldn’t find him.
He was later found wandering along the road by someone. He was eventually taken to his parents. He told them he escaped from where he was taken, but while he was a normal boy before he went missing, he is now manifesting mental problem.
Another case was where a woman went into one house and asked the housewife to escort her somewhere. The housewife abandoned everything and followed her. The husband came back and found she was not around, which he found strange, because if she had to go out she would phone him.
So he called her phone, but it was switched off. The abductors later called him after two days that he should go to one crossroad to take his wife, that she gave them a difficult time. He found her there in chains.
As for kidnapping, which is creeping into our society, the recent case of a five-year old  Aliyu Aminu kidnapped  and subsequently killed in Kano last month is an example.
The kidnappers demanded ransom, and two million naira was deposited into the bank account they gave. But it was frozen and they couldn’t withdraw the money, so they killed the boy and dumped his corpse in an uncompleted building.
Also last month, about fifteen people in chains  were  discovered in the  Idi Mangoro area in Soka community  of Ibadan,  Oyo State. They were discovered by security operatives in an abandoned property. They were believed to be kidnapped to be used for rituals.
Only God knows how many more such evil places are in this country.
Such rituals that are done with human parts are said to be for riches, and some people are so desperate to get rich that they sacrifice or sell even their loved ones such as children and wives.
Yet, political ambition is also believed to be another reason why people patronise these ritualists that use human parts.
People should be more careful in interacting with strangers and report suspicious movements around them. We should all do our best to guard against such evil people that have no regard for human life. They are also heartless in inflicting pain on the parents and relatives of the victims. And anybody that learns of it for that matter.
The ritualists should also get court sentences that will reflect their crime, may be, others would think twice before getting involved in ritual killing or kidnapping, as the case may be.
