Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Daki-Biyu District, Kubwa Branch, held its Christmas carol service on Saturday.

Briefing journalists on the sidelines of the event, themed, ‘Double Glory’, Kayode Aliyu, Pastor of Peculiar Disciples of Christ Mission, Gwarimpa, Abuja, said Nigeria is “not without hope”, in spite of its myriads of challenges.

“When there is life, there is still hope. The word for Nigeria is hope, not because the presidency is bringing up hope right now, but because there is a hope in relationship with God.

“The reason we are still one nation today is because God is in Nigeria. We have the ‘God factor’ in everything we do,” Pastor Aliyu said.

Pastor Ibijoke Ogundipe, Wife to the Senior Pastor of the church, urged women to share love.

“I call on women as bedrock of the society to gather everyone around them and share love. This will help us to progress as a nation,” she said.

Apostle Seun Sodipe, Secretary of the Carol Steering Committee, urged Christians to share in the “blessings that God has given unto them. Not just on financial and material terms, but also kind words and gestures.

“We never know what the next person is going through. A kind word and gesture can go a long way in ensuring that the person feels loved.”
