Things rich women do to look beautiful and young

Every woman wants to look perfect, and most of them are reinventing themselves.
Some women would consider doing this for their wedding days, but these days, most of them consider it part of their beauty routine programmes to look gorgeous and young.
They are bypassing the beauty salon for the operating table in their determination to look nothing less than perfect on their wedding day or youthful all through their lives. From nose jobs to chin lifts and liposuction, the list is becoming more elaborative with time.
Dr Kuldeep Singh, a senior consultant in the Department of Cosmetic, Plastic and Re-Constructive Surgery of the Apollo Indian Hospital, said the risk involved in these surgeries would be minimal if done by a specialist.
According to him, there are a wide variety of cosmetic procedures that people undergo. The most popular pre-wedding cosmetic procedures are liposuction, breast augmentation and rhinoplasty, the most popular being liposuction.
He explained, “Women are going for treatments ranging from simple things like a medically monitored facial that is more pampering, to procedures like face uplift, lip enhancement, cheek enhancement and a total makeover of the facial contour.
The most popular, however, is improving skin health and glow, which becomes more important due to all the stress and running around that they do; therefore they go for skin polishing, chemical peels and scar correction. Women are usually under the constant pressure to look good; as a result, they do not hesitate anymore to go the cosmetic way to enhance their looks.”
Nigerian women are not left out of the craze to look youthful and beautiful. Modupe Ozulua operates a clinic that provides women with these kinds of services.
However, some beauty salons offer massages and treatments to aid women who still want to look graceful.
But the senior consultant in the Department of Cosmetic, Plastic and Re-Constructive Surgery said that women now want a lip pout or a cheek bone enhancement to lift their eyebrows and smoothen wrinkles, with fillers, botox, laser rejuvenation and treatments for hair removal, wrinkles, pigmentation problems, acne and scarring, as well as breast augmentation.
“Liposuction is a procedure which can be performed in areas like abdomen, flanks, hips, thighs, arms and even from the chin and cheeks through surgical and non-surgical methods.
“Liposuction is typically used on “problem” areas that have not responded well to diet and exercise. It helps to reshape one or more areas of the body, leaving one looking stunning and fit. And the results are noticeable and permanent.
“Most of these non-surgical procedures are day care procedures, and one can go back home the same day, depending upon treatment one undergoes. This is the main reason why women prefer these regimens,” he said.
He pointed out that these sittings can be repeated from two to six weeks for lasers, and almost five to six months for botox.
