Until his untimely death last two weeks, though his songs are very popular, topping the list of musical charts in radio stations in some parts of the country, very few outside Kano knew Lil Ameer :

1  Was just 14 years old when death cuts his career short.

2 He started his musical career at the age of 9 in Junior Secondary School 1 (JSS 1).

3 He sang both in Hausa and English languages.

4 He combined his musical career with academics with ease.

5 He attended conventional school and goes to Islamic school

6 His ambition was to become a pilot in the future.

7 His short lived success in musical career was a function of support from his parents

Lil Ameer died on Thursday, September 14th, in an auto-crash along western by-pass in Kano

Among his popular songs are: " Boss, Kai Matsa Mana, Dance for me, I am a Champion, Ilimin Boko da na Addinin musulunci.
