This Week’s Guest: Inalegwu Sam Odah
I first met Sam Odah in the second edition of the treasured writers, TTW, a writing workshop, which I facilitate for children between the ages of seven and 15 in Abuja. He had registered with his siblings and a cousin who was on vacation with the family. The Odah family had the largest number of children registered for the workshop by any one family and they have also remained the most consistent family to the workshop registering their children without fail every year in the last five years. This point is made in order to situate Sam as a young person whose parents are preparing for the future. Sam showed at every workshop that he was a reader and a leader. Calm, focused and very well behaved, Sam not only exudes character, but is warm, friendly and always willing to help without being in your face. Earlier in the year, in a keenly contested election, Sam went on to win The TTW ambassador for 2012/2013.
