It is sad how the road leading to the airport in Abuja still has concrete barriers which were used to control traffic during road construction. There is a ray of hope however, since there seems to be recent activity aimed at completing construction and removing barriers. I have always wondered how the leaders, including the president, feel when they ply the route. It is the first impression visitors to Nigeria get about us and that is certainly embarrassing. I urge the Buhari government to redeem us from this shame and continue to clear those barriers.
