In recognition of their outstanding contributions to humanitarian work in Northern Nigeria, Hajiya Zahrau Abubakar Wali, Hajiya Fatima Bello, and Hajiya Hauwa Liman have been nominated to receive prestigious accolades at the Arewa Humanitarian Awards 2024.

Hajiya Zahrau Abubakar Wali, known for her work in promoting women’s rights and education, has championed programs that provide education and economic opportunities to vulnerable women and girls. Her efforts have empowered countless women to rise above poverty and achieve self-reliance, making her a recognized leader in community development and gender equality.

Hajiya Fatima Bello, the Founder of the Hasken Children Foundation, has been a tireless advocate for children, particularly children with disabilities.
