Thresholds International short story competition is now open for entries. Submissions are open in either of two feature categories: Author profile – which explores the life, writings and influence of a single short story writer or personal recommendations of a collection, anthology, group of short stories or a single short story.
Writers are expected to submit pieces of non-fiction of a maximum of 2, 000 words, and a minimum of 750 words. Also, essays should be a maximum of three.
The winner would receive prize money of £500, second runner up £100, plus a selection of short story titles for all shortlisted writers.
Threshold is an online forum dedicated to the reading, writing and study of the short story form.
