Tijjaniya leaders in Adamawa declare Haqiqah sect as non-Muslims

 Tijjaniyyah scholars in Adamawa State have condemned the strange doctrine of a sect known as Haqiqa which claimed Ramadan fasting and five daily prayers were optional rather than compulsory.

 

In a press statement signed by Sheikh Hamidu Moddibo Jailani and made available to journalists in Yola, the leaders of Tijjaniyah Islamic group declared Haqiqa adherents as non Muslims having gone contrary to Quranic teachings and traditions of Prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him.
