‘Not Too Young to Run’ is an act of Parliament which sought to reduce the age limit for elective offices in Nigeria, and it is  believed that young Nigerians will have an ample opportunity  to occupy bigger political offices or even pilot the affairs of the country.

It is not new to Nigerians that of all the 16 rulers or  presidents who ruled the country since independence, only five were below the age of 50.

It is high time for Nigeria to, as a matter of urgency, shop for a young president, for the country to get it right this time around.

There are a lot of young and vibrant people who, if given the mandate, will certainly take Nigeria to the Promised Land.

It is very unfortunate that Nigeria has suffered the trend of recycling its leaders who have made little impact on the nation’s development.

These leaders only enriched themselves by siphoning public funds.

There is no doubt that many young people have served the country with sincerity in so many ways that if given the mandate will perform credibly well.

The young people, who constitute the larger number of  the voting population, need to rally round their colleagues in order to produce the president of Nigeria come 2023.
