I wish to draw the attention of the Kaduna State government to the deplorable condition of Pambegua General Hospital. The hospital was built by the administration of the former governor, Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, to provide medical services to the people of the community and its environs.
But in the past two years, the hospital has become a ghost of its former self. Cases of patients’ referral have become the order of the day. Most of the equipment there are not functioning due to lack of maintenance. This situation has increased burden on the understaffed Primary Health Care center in the community.
We, therefore, call on the government to urgently look into the matter to save the hospital from total collapse.
