Time to say no to bad leadership

The citizens of Nigeria are waiting to see who emerges as the president of Nigeria in the 2023 general elections.

Nigeria has been suffering from bad leadership following failed promises by politicians.

Unfortunately, this attitude has led people to lose interest in election matters.

As the elections draw nearer, walking down the street and asking the people who they would vote for, you surprisingly, hear words like, “all politicians are the same.” Many are now nonchalant about political issues.

But we must not lose hope as citizens. We must vote, but vote wisely.

I believe there is a candidate that can reverse the country’s problems.

It is also important we play safe as elections come close and avoid any form of violence.

As citizens, we must strive to get our voter’s card and vote wisely. People must not sell their votes or be bribed, or be swayed by religious sentiments, tribal considerations, race, culture or beliefs.

Vote with wisdom so that we do not end up in the worst dilemma.

No one knows the future, but we can predict the future when we vote for the right person to secure our future.

It is time we wake up as citizens of Nigeria to make our country move forward.

We need to see changes in our country, a place free from corruption, with good educational opportunities, good roads, employment and empowerment for the poor.

No one can make this happen, except you and me.

We must decide the future of our country so that we do not end up in deep regret.

Enough of greedy and selfish leaders.

It is time to say no to bad governance, which can be achieved by voting in the 2023 general elections.

Say no to mal-election and make Nigeria a better place.
