Shot and produced in Lagos Nigeria, and delivered to the African continent, Tinsel’s production quality rivals any soap produced anywhere in the world.

The new season would now be showing Mondays to Fridays every week on M-Net from 31st May, 2010. And from August 2010 would be filmed on High Definition (HD) format, the first locally produced soap to go on that format.

At the centre of the drama is Ade Williams, owner of the biggest studio in Nigeria – the Reel studios. But his estranged daughter seeks to collapse that empire with a rival company, Odyssey Pictures.

There is also Reginald Okoh, the producer who has an adulterous affair that threaten his marriage and everything he owes; and the beauty queen Telema Duke who falls in love with a bar waiter and more.

Season 1 introduced the world of Fred Ade Williams. A world of film business success. He monopolizes until Brenda showed up. While Fred tried to contain the rival, he received news that she was his daughter.

Fred Ade Williams suffered a stroke in season 2 and is in a coma. Away from Reel studio, his son indulges in the unimaginable – co-produces a film with the competition, Brenda. Meanwhile, while the illicit affair between Reginald and Angela lasted, Angela got pregnant and wanted him at all cost, even if Reginald would lose his wife.

And now in season 3. Fred’s daughter, Monica Ade Williams dies in a car crash but what are the circumstances behind the accident? Who is the fellow that called claiming to be her husband: a husband that had been declared dead weeks before? Philip is still working with Brenda, but how long would it last?
