Segun Sowunmi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is confused.
Sowunmi stated this during an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today.
He was discussing some of the tough economic decisions the government is taking.
Sowunmi said, “I am so optimistic and I say it to people who ask me if Tinubu can’t figure out these things I wonder who can. I think that, one, he is confused. Two, to be smiling at Mele Kyari an explanation has to be made then.

“I don’t understand what the CBN people are doing about the value of the currency. Are they telling me that by their imagination, by floating the currency, Nigeria’s currency will become toilet paper?
“What exactly constitute the science and commerce of pricing petrol when you are refining in your country?
“I have been reading a lot of books on how we can work around this pricing and the research is still ongoing. When I am done with it, I will come out with what we can consider.”
But responding, the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, would show he meant business.
Morka said that President Buhari spent eight years clearing the mess perpetrated by the PDP’s sixteen-year misrule.
He said, “This president will not only fix the challenges, but will demonstrate he means business by showing massive improvements in the long run, in a sustainable passion.”
