The President elect, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, has been challenged to unite Nigerians and live his campaign promises.
The National Chairman, 100% Focus Movement, Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed, gave the charge during a book launch and award presentations at the weekend in Abuja
The title of the book is Renewed Hope.
The event was organised by 100% Focus Movement and Arewa Women for Tinubu and was attended by notable politicians including the Vice President-Elect Kashim Shettima, who was represented by Pauline Tallen, the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development.
He said the group and other support groups mobilised for Tinubu/Shettima based on their promises to Nigerians thus, they must fulfill those promises they made to Nigetians.
He noted that those promises focused on good governance, infrastructure provision, addressing insecurity, engendering national unity and cohesion, and several others.
Dr. Ibrahim emphasized that the fragmentation of Nigerians along ethnic and religious lines must end for the spirit of one Nigeria to thrive.
“We don’t have any other country other than Nigeria. Nigeria has to remain as one. How do we remain as one? By Fulfilling your promises” he told the President elect and his Viice.
“We, the 100% Focus Movement and the Arewa Women for Tinubu have combined forces on the unity of Nigeria. We are not election materials and we are not going to stop until Nigeria moves forward. We still remind the President Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu that the promises he made on the Renewed Hope campaign that if he doesn’t keep to them, we will hold him to account” he assured.
“Tinubu will put Nigeria on the right path. We will have to get it right this time around. The road infrastructure must be done. The education must be done. We will have to have the right data to plan. You don’t know who you are until you have a national passport. We need credible database. We will make sure Nigerians are free to live and invest in any state of your choice” he stated.
