President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pledged support and assistance to ensure the successful execution of projects and programmes that will bring about sustainable growth and improvement in the lives of the people of the Niger Delta region.

The president made the pledge when he received the Minister of Niger Delta Development, Abubakar Momoh, at the State House, Abuja, to provide a comprehensive update on the ongoing activities and initiatives within the Niger Delta ministry.

The meeting is aimed at seeking the president’s support and commitment towards the sustainable development of the Niger Delta region.

During the meeting, the minister, according to his spokesman, Osigwe Omo-Ikirodah, in a statement Sunday, highlighted the vital projects and initiatives undertaken by the Niger Delta ministry to uplift the socio-economic landscape of the region.

He presented a detailed overview of ongoing infrastructure projects, community development programs, and efforts to address environmental concerns in the Niger Delta.
