The Association of Nigeria Artisans and Technicians (ASNAT) has passed a vote of confidence on the Director General of the Industrial Training Fund, Dr. Oluwatoyin Afiz Ogun.

At a press conference in Abuja on Thursday, the National Coordinator of ASNAT, Comrade Adeshina Akinyemi, said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu chose right when he appointed Ogun as the ITF DG.

He said, “President Boia Ahmed Tinubu who is well known as a talent hunter shopped for and appointed another goal getter like himself in the person of Dr. Oluwatoyin Afiz Ogun as the Director General of Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu must have found something very unique in Dr. Oluwatoyin Afiz Ogun to saddle him with the onerous task of turting around the breakdown destiny of Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

“As the saying goes that ‘when the foundation is faulty, what can the righteous do?’ Dr. Afiz Ogun is now providing an answer to this age long question as a fauity foundation needs to be destroyed and a new one laid.

“For efficient and effective service delivery, duty reposition, ITF is now refocusing its destination for a new solid foundation that will accommodate the reality of today and the dreams of tomorrow.
