Alhaji Aliyu Audu, the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Public Affairs, has resigned.
In a resignation letter dated June 8 and addressed to the President through the Chief of Staff, Audu, however, did not give any reason for his resignation.
“I write to formally tender my resignation as Senior Special Assistant to The President effective immediately,” Audu wrote.
The former Presidential aide thanked the President for the opportunity “to serve my fatherland under your visionary leadership.”

Audu also thanked former presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, whose recommendation led to his nomination and subsequent appointment.
“It has been an honour to contribute to the public communication efforts of this administration.
“Please accept the assurances of my highest esteem and continued prayers for the success of your leadership and the progress of our beloved nation,” he said.
