A tipper loaded with sand has knocked a commercial motorcyclist, commonly known as Okada man, on Ali Akilu Road, opposite NDA Junction, in Kaduna.
A witness, who noted that the incident occurred around 10am on Thursday, said that the victim, whose right leg was severely injured, was rushed to the 44 Military Hospital.

A tricycle operator, who escaped the accident, recounted that they were waiting at a junction when the tipper rammed into the motorcyclist and his passenger from behind.
He said, “The commercial rider suffered severe injuries on his leg and waist. He was rushed to the hospital.”
City & Crime learnt that the passenger on the motorcycle escaped unharmed. It was also learnt that the tipper driver fled the scene.
