An Adikpo-based businessman and die-hard fan of Liverpool, Robinson Okwudili, says despite the recent mishap, the title race is not over for the Reds.

Liverpool’s quest for a 20th Premier League title suffered a major setback last Sunday when visiting Crystal Palace stunned them 1-0.

Nigerian-born England midfielder, Ebere Eze, scored the match-winner in the 14th minute as Liverpool’s dip in form continued.

With six more matches to go, Liverpool now in third position are on 71 points with Arsenal and two behind defending champions Manchester City.

Unlike Manchester City, the Reds will face more formidable opponents in their remaining fixtures.

They have four away matches against Fulham, Everton, West Ham and Aston Villa while their two home matches are against Tottenham and Wolves.

Even as Liverpool face tricky ties, Okwudili who is the chairman of Liverpool fans club in Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State is not giving up on his club’s chances.

He said “You can break our hearts, crush our bones, but you can never break our spirit. You will never walk alone.

“The loss to Crystal Palace was a temporary setback. We will bounce back. Of course, we have some difficult matches ahead but we are not giving up on our title ambition,” said Okwudili.
