Nigerian pop diva Tiwa Savage is on the verge of signing a deal with American rapper and businessman Jay Z’s record label, Roc Nation.
It has been reported that the 36-year-old ‘Standing Ovation’ hit maker is all set to sign the deal that has been the subject of major speculation in the past few weeks.
The singer alongside Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, was spotted at the Roc Nation office in New York with Jay Z as they seemed to discuss the supposed terms and conditions regarding the imminent deal.
The songstress, who has had a topsy-turvy year so far, was clearly in an elated mood as she will be joining an impressive array of music artistes like Rihanna, Shakira, J.Cole, Rita Ora, Emeli Sande, Big Sean and a whole lot more. She posted a picture of herself alongside Jay Z and Don Jazzy on Instagram with the caption “Mavin X Roc Nation” while Don Jazzy put up a short video of the trio on his Snapchat.
According to her most recent post on Instagram, she is also set to be featured as a VIP guest on American Entertainment TV channel E!.
She put up an image with the caption: “I am so excited, huge platform. I watch E! all the time and now I’ll be watching my own mini documentary…When God says yes nobody can say no.”
The mother of one, who had a brief hiatus last year to give birth and take care of her son Jamil, is undoubtedly one of Nigeria’s biggest female music acts.
