Tiwa Savage is scheduled to become the first female Afrobeats musician to headline the 13,000-capacity Wembley Arena in the United Kingdom. The award-winning singer is due to headline the Wembley OVO Arena on November 26, 2023, in a performance she guarantees will be memorable.
Tiwa Savage mentioned this on The Good Morning Britain show where she spoke about her journey to superstardom, the effect of her Nigerian background on her music and performing at Prince Charles’ coronation.
When asked about the development of Afrobeats, Tiwa Savage responded that all black music, including Hip Hop and Soul, was created by slaves imported from Africa, hence the origin of Afrobeats’ global recognition makes sense.
