Engr. Sule disclosed this recently in an interview, saying the development was part of NBTE requirements for the course to create a conducive atmosphere for learning.
He said management was making efforts to acquire fund from TETFUND to assist the polytechnic in establishing the radio station so as to strengthen high level of professionalism for potential journalists.
The rector also said that fund have been received from the TETFUND to assist the polytechnic in providing internet facility in the campus.
“Very soon there will be a brand new communication square that will change the colour of this place behind us completely,” he said.
He said there will be internet connectivity whereby fiber optic will be laid across the polytechnic and the staff quarters that will facilitate the means of communication across the institution.
He revealed that management was committed to building a new complex for the office of technology management department, civil engineering, electrical engineering and architectural engineering departments of which fund have been acquired from TETFUND and that the foundation for the building would be laid soon.
