Salem Olusesan Akindele-Rock: Jesus never commanded us to celebrate either Christmas or Easter. What he asked us to do in Luke 22:19 is to be marking the Lord’s Supper, his last meal with his disciples. But when many of us have elaborate birthday, and even burial ceremonies for our parents before, did they command us to do it, or we felt an obligation borne out of love to do so?
