Towards achieving Hajjul Mabrur (II)
Towards achieving Hajjul Mabrur (II)

In terms of morals:  A pilgrim should be compassionate, patient, modest, simple, just, generous, truthful, forgiving, enduring, accommodating sincere, caring, sympathetic to the plight of others and above all have trust in Allah (SWT).
In terms of manners: A pilgrim must maintain good manners in all his interactions such as in greeting, decent dressing, good speech, discussion, counsel to others, taking pieces of advice from others and maintaining good companionship, etc.
Rules and regulations: The pilgrims are expected to know the relevant operational rules and the Saudi Arabian rules and regulations guiding the offshore aspects of the operation. This is important as it will help the pilgrim to keep away from getting into trouble, which has the potential of stopping him from performing the Hajj. The Taraddudiyya, feeding, pilgrims grouping etc are examples of regulations that can only succeed when the pilgrims are knowledgeable about them.
Operational preparations:  These involve putting all the aspects of the operation together and smooth implementation of the programmes. This is mostly the function of the Pilgrims Welfare Boards in states in conjunction with NAHCON and all other stakeholders, who play different roles towards achieving one key objective, which is Hajjul Mabrur by the pilgrims. While the board and the stakeholders are busy making technical and logistic preparations, the feasibility of operating or implementing the arrangements will be hinged on the level of preparation of the intending pilgrims.
A friendly symbiotic relation towards Hajjul Mabrur: The interdependent relationship between the boards, officials and pilgrims is sine qua non to the operation in particular and the general end of the operation, which is assisting the pilgrims to perform the Hajjul Mabrur. This relation is instrumental in this regard. Pilgrims’ disobedience only results to chaos and if not well managed will affect their Hajj negatively.
Hajjul Mabrur, therefore, can only be achieved with knowledge, and there is apparent ignorance about Hajj rites and Hajj operation.
The challenges the pilgrims face towards achieving Hajjul Mabrur border on operational, attitudinal, health related and challenge of ignorance, which is the worst of the pack.
The steps to take towards achieving Hajjul Mabrur can be freely classified as spiritual, educational, practical, financial, attitudinal health, interpersonal steps backed by operational angle of the journey.
Healthy relation between the pilgrims is necessary for the Hajj operation to succeed and for the pilgrims to achieve Hajjul Mabrur.
