The Cleaner Lagos Initiative (CLI) has taken its awareness campaign to major markets in the state.

The CLI team visited Bariga, Computer Village, Mile 12, Oyingbo, Mushin, Idumota, Oshodi, Agege, Ajah, Lekki, Yaba and Orile markets to sensitize the traders about the on-going efforts of government.

During the visit which was led by popular Nollywood actor/comedian, Oluwatoyin Bayegun aka ‘Official Arole’, the traders and buyers had the opportunity to ask questions from the team who educated and entertained the crowd by playing trumpets, skating and dancing as part of the ‘market flash mob’ campaign.

An elderly woman who sells vegetable at Oyingbo market used the occasion to commend the state government’s efforts towards providing clean environment in markets across the state.
