The traditional ruler of Kaninko Chiefdom in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Malam Tanko Tete has appealed to the Kaduna State Government to convert the Kafanchan Campus of the Kaduna State University (KASU) into a full-fledged university for the benefit of southern Kaduna and the neighbouring states.
Speaking while receiving members of the Installation Panel during a courtesy visit at his palace, Mallam Tanko Tete also appealed to the state government to support the campus with the needed facilities that would improve the quality of education in the school.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation and the acting chairman of the panel, Professor Andrew Bobai Suku, said they were at the palace to thank the chief for his immense support for the campus and to appeal for more land for the expansion of the campus.
