The Zaki of Arigidi Akoko in Akoko North West LGA of Ondo State, Oba Yisa Olanipukun, has appealed to members of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Nigeria and across the globe to allow the immediate family and the Arigidi community mourn the death of their son, Prophet TB Joshua, who died on Sunday.
The monarch, in an interview with newsmen at his palace, said the wish of the people was that the late televangelist be buried in the town.

The traditional ruler noted that notable clergymen in the country, like St Moses Orimolade, were buried in their hometowns.
He noted that burying TB Joshua in the town would ensure his legacy remained permanently in Arigidi Akoko.
He said, “I am hereby making a demand that his body must be preserved intact until arrangements are made to examine and/or certify the cause of his death and the body is moved to Arigidi for final burial rites to be announced at a later date.”
