Transport Logistics in focus as Oyeyemi delivers CBN lecture

Former Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and President of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi is to deliver the 10th anniversary lecture of  City Business News (CBN).

The Publisher, Mr. Moses Ebosele said the anniversary lecture will hold in Lagos and it will bring together stakeholders from Nigeria’s transport, logistics, maritime, financial, and media sectors.

Speaking ahead of the event, Ebosele described the anniversary scheduled June 25, 2026, as a significant milestone reflecting a decade of business-focused journalism, credible reporting, and support for economic development in Nigeria.

According to him, the major highlight of the celebration will be a keynote lecture titled, “Logistics As The Engine Room Of Nigeria’s Economy,” to be delivered by Boboye Oyeyemi.

Ebosele said the event is expected to attract key players from government institutions, regulatory agencies, private sector organisations, and the media industry.

Among those expected at the event are the founder of ABC Transport Plc, Frank Nneji, alongside representatives of the Nigeria Customs Service, Nigerian Ports Authority, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, and the Nigerian Shippers’ Council. Representatives of banks, leading automobile companies, and other industry stakeholders are also expected to attend the anniversary event.

 

Ebosele noted that the gathering would provide an opportunity for robust discussions on the importance of logistics, transportation, and supply chain systems in strengthening Nigeria’s economy and improving national competitiveness.
