Tribunal gives order for inspection of materials in Kashamu’s case

Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Ebiowei Tobi, ordered that the inspection should be carried out on or before Tuesday, May 5.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Dapo Abioddun, has dragged the PDP and INEC to the tribunal to challenge Kashamu’s victory.
The tribunal also heard the House of Representatives election case for Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun water side seat, contested by Biyi Ismail of the APC, and Adekiya of the PDP, who was declared the winner.
Earlier, in his inaugural address, Justice Tobi has described the exercise as a call to national service.
Two petitions from the APC were listed for hearing at the time of filing this report but our correspondent observed that the petition from the PDP governorship candidate, Gboyega Isiaka, challenging the victory of Governor Ibikunle Amosun was accepted by the tribunal’s secretariat.
