The Malumfashi General Hospital in Katsina is to continue with the upkeep of the triplets left behind following the death of their mother, Gaje Zubairu.
Gaje, 38 from Gora village, who was delivered of quadruplets last week through a caesarian section (CS) at the hospital died at the weekend. One of the babiesy had also died two days after the CS.
The Chief Medical Director of the hospital Dr. Abdulhamid Abdullahi who disclosed this when the governor’s wife visited the babies at the hospital, said the babies would remain at the hospital until they were strong enough.
Earlier, the governor’s wife Hadiza Masari who donated N100,000 for the upkeep of the babies promised to ensure proper upkeep through monitoring and support.
