Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have killed three members of Boko Haram insurgents in Gubio Local Government Area of Borno State, sources have said.
It was gathered that the troops, in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), in a joint operation, intercepted some terrorists who usually terrorise commuters and robbed them of their valuables Friday evening.

The sources added that two of the terrorists carried AK-47 riffles while the third one was their rider.
“Our gallant troops killed insurgents members in Gubio general areas and two AK47 rIffles with two magazines as well as a motorcycle were recovered from the terrorists,” the source said.
Zagazola Makama, a counter insurgency expert and security analyst in the Lake Chad, said the troops were able to gun down three terrorists during the encounter.
It would be recalled that three farmers were killed while others were injured by criminal elements who have been ransacking farmlands in Gubio last Thursday.
