A Federal High Court in Ilorin has sentenced a truck driver, Olamilekan Basit, to one year imprisonment for transporting 30 tons of solid minerals without lawful authority.
The court, presided over by Justice Abimbola Awogboro, gave him an option of a N1 million fine and ordered him to pay N5 million as royalty to the Federal Government.
Similarly, the court also sentenced a photographer, Oyerinde Gbolahan Sodiq, to 300 hours of community service for cybercrime.
He was found guilty of impersonating a foreign national to defraud a victim of $550.

Also convicted were Ibrahim Ismail Aranfajo and Maruf Ridwan Babawale.
