Trust TV, the television arm of the Media Trust Group (MTG), has emerged as the Media House of the Year in the League of Extraordinary Achievers Award.

Trust TV emerged media house of the year following its investigative and educative contents in just two years of its existence.

The award was presented at an award ceremony organised by Gaze Production in Kaduna.

Adeyemi Adekunle, the Convener, LEAA announced the award at the 3rd edition of LEAA where personalities and organisations making a difference were recognised.

He said, “I have been following Trust TV for some time and I noticed that it is a unique station and if you check the programmes of the station, it is balanced across the spares of life.

“Their political programme, sports programme, education programme are awesome. Trust TV is doing well and what we do in LEAA, we identify organisations that are doing well and that have paid their price.”

Daily Trust Bureau Chief, Kaduna/Kano, Ahmed Datti, while receiving the award, thanked the organisers for finding Trust TV worthy of the award.
