Trustfund donates 5000 reflective jackets to FRSC

Managing Director/CEO of Trustfund, Mrs. Helen Da-Souza who presented the jackets to FRSC Corps Marshall Boboye Oyeyemi, last week, said the gesture was part of the company’s master plan of giving back to the society and partnering with government institutions that impact on the day to day living of Nigerians.
“We are committed to touching the world around us and making it safe so that our people can actually live and retire into a quality standard of living. We appreciate FRSC for its daily activities in safeguarding the lives of our beloved citizens on our high ways, often times at great risk to life and limb of its officers,” she said.
She added that Trustfund hopes “the enhanced visibility occasioned by these jackets will help in reducing hazards of the job and keep your officers safe as they work tirelessly to keep our highway safe”.
In his response, Corps Marshal Oyeyemi thanked Trustfund for the gesture, saying that it will enhance the corps’ duties, especially during patrol at night.
According to him, the FRSC is committed to ensuring accident are reduced to the barest minimum, pointing out that the corps has put in place measures to ensure that henceforth, any commercial driver leaving the park must undergo a compulsory test to certify his eligibility to drive on Nigerian roads.
