The Chairman of the House Committee on Public Service, Hon. Engr. Sani Bala Tsanyawa, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, joining other leaders across the country in celebrating his contributions to Nigeria’s democratic development.

In a statement, Tsanyawa described the President as “a defender of democracy, a visionary leader, and a statesman whose courage and resilience have helped shape the nation’s trajectory.”

He noted that Tinubu’s political journey reflects sacrifice, determination, and a sustained commitment to national unity and progress.

“President Tinubu has consistently stood firm in defence of democracy. His role during the pro-democracy struggles of the 1990s was pivotal to Nigeria’s return to civilian rule. He has demonstrated that leadership is about service to the people and safeguarding the nation’s future,” Tsanyawa said.

The lawmaker also highlighted Tinubu’s tenure as Governor of Lagos State, noting that reforms implemented during the period contributed significantly to the state’s economic growth.

“The Lagos experience remains a testament to his foresight and innovation. As President, he is working to extend similar reforms at the national level, with a focus on sustainable growth, economic stability, and national development,” he added.
