The management of TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell is banking on experience and quality of Nigeria’s top tennis player, Aruna Quadri to end the drop in the Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL)

After losing three consecutive matches against Neu-Ulm, Schwalbe-Berneustadt and Ochsenhausen at home, TTC will host visiting Post SV Mühlhausen in the Wilmingtonhalle at home on Sunday January 3, 2021.

According to Vice President of the TTC, Clau-Dieter Schad, TTC were complacent in the last few games, and they failed to win against the top opponents despite good performances to suffer three defeats in a row at the end of the year.

“It’s of course annoying that we weren’t able to take one or two wins from the games, but it also showed that the path we were taking is the right one,” said Schad.

With German international Ruwen Filus and Aruna in their best form at present, Schad is confident the Nigerian can deliver the team.

With Aruna yet to get used to the league, Schad said: “That is why it is right that we do not raise the targets too early, but I am convinced that he (Aruna) will go a step further.”

“We are optimistic and want to start the New Year with a sense of achievement,” says Schad
