The winners emerged from the exam conducted in all 36 states of the federation and the FCT.
The first position out of 28,400 pupils was a female student of Bereton Montessori Primary School Rivers State, Adaora Nnadi, who scored 97.988%
Adaora was presented a cheque of N100,000 by the special guest, Cameroonian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Salaheddine Abbas Ibrahima, at the end of the event. Another female student, Sashe Ojuba, from Corona School, Lagos State came 2nd with 96.742 %, while the third position was a tie between Mitchelle Adaeze Okoli of Mount Olive School, Anambra State and O. Oluwadara Olawoye of Childs Play Mini School Oyo State who both scored 95.065%.
The NTIC also offered 100% scholarship to 14 students in boarding and feeding, 100% scholarship in tuition to six students while 50% scholarship in tuition was awarded to 91 students.
