Kaduna State Police Command has arrested twelve (12) suspected kidnappers, thirteen (13) suspects for culpable homicide, and four(4) suspected car snatchers within two weeks across the state.
The command also recovered Four (4) stolen vehicles and Two thousand, seven hundred (2700) sachets of Tramadol and other drugs during the period under review.
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Muhammad Rabiu, disclosed this during a news briefing on Monday.
He said the Command remains committed to tackling all forms of criminality through intelligence-led policing, strategic operations, and collaboration with sister security agencies and members of the public.
He further added that the efforts yielded significant results, leading to the arrest of dangerous criminal elements, rapists and the recovery of illegal firearms, murderers and stolen property in the state.

He said the achievements underscored the Command’s determination to deny criminals the freedom to operate within Kaduna State.
“We shall continue to intensify intelligence gathering, strengthen community engagement, and sustain targeted operations against banditry, kidnapping, armed robbery, vehicle theft, and other forms of criminality,” he said.
He further expressed appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, for his leadership and support, and to the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, for his continued support to the command in the discharge of its responsibilities.
The CP said the command also acknowledged the contributions of the good people of Kaduna State, for their continued support, cooperation, and timely provision of credible information, which greatly contributed to the successes.
He urged members of the public to remain vigilant and continue to partner with the police in its collective efforts to build a safer and more secure Kaduna State.
He, however, appealed to the judiciary to allow the police to parade suspects, particularly those arrested in the act or found in possession of incriminating exhibits.
According to him, the move would make members of the public and communities more vigilant, aid crime prevention efforts, and keep the public informed about the police’s efforts in combating crime and criminality.
