Two die, five injured in Osun auto crash

An auto crash on the Ife/Ilesa expressway in Osun State on Sunday claimed two lives while five persons sustained injuries.

The accident, which occurred at Osu junction, involved a vehicle with registration number KJA 393 XA.

The public relations officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mrs Agness Ogungbemi, confirmed the incident.

She said: “The five persons who were injured were taken to Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in Ife for medical treatment. Two persons died and their remains were taken to the morgue in the hospital.”
