The awards recently held at Sheraton Hotels, Abuja, is supported by Miles Morland Foundation, a United Kingdom (UK) based charitable organization, which focuses on promoting arts and positive causes that affects Africans.
The Executive Director of the initiative, Simeon Ebechidi said at the awards, “if young people are being mentored from an early stage, they would be able to discover their skills and talents and use it to acquire jobs for themselves. That’s the skill acquisition we’re talking about and that’s where it should start.
Created in May, 2013, the overall objective of the NGO is to reduce joblessness among youths and inspire them towards self-sustaining careers.
