Two notorious area boys of Kundila quarters have been remanded in prison custody for alleged criminal conspiracy and assault.
According to Police First Information Report the duo Bashir Usman and Kawu Mohammed conspired and physically attacked some members of Kundila community’s security committee as a result of which they sustained serious injuries.
The court prosecutor ASP Sani Musa told the court that the injured community members Aminu Sale, Tasiu and Tajudden Mohammed have been hospitalized at Murtala Mohammed Specialists Hospital where they received medical treatment. And he also presented the weapons arrested along with suspects as an exhibit before the court.
The accused person pleaded not guilty to the two count charges of criminal conspiracy and assault which contradict section 97 and 246 of Penal Code Law. They also denied ownership of the weapons saying that they belong to the community committee members.
The presiding judge of court no 7 of Magistrate Court of Gyadi-Gyadi, Chief Magistrate FaithuYassar ordered that the accused persons to be remanded in prison custody and adjourned the case to 6th March, 2018.
