On Tuesday January 19, it should have bee a time to celebrate two years of revived economic activity at the Baro Port and its host community in Niger state.
Instead, everywhere around the port looks desolute and every face in the looks gloomy because they have been living in a fool’s paradise.
Their thought was with the commissioning of the port in 2019 by President Muhammadu Buhari, life was going to be better not only for them but also for the whole country.
