The Royal Queen of Twon-Brass kingdom in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Evangelist Josephine Diete-Spiff, has been conferred with a Knighthood of the Anglican Communion Church.
Josephine, who is the President of the Royal Queens of Niger Delta Initiative, a body for all the wives of traditional rulers from the region was inducted into the highest Christian group in the church.
The award is due to her commitment to her faith and passion for a better society.
Speaking after her investiture, the monarch’s wife urged Christians across the country to support churches to solve the current challenges facing Nigeria.
She also urged Christians to support the nation with prayers.
The Chairman of Bayelsa State Traditional Rulers Council and the Amayanabo of Twon-Brass Kingdom, King Alfred Diete-Spiff, said the conferment of knighthood was the culminating point of her service to God.
He admonished her to keep the flag flying, adding that service to God is everlasting.
